Usual Storyline

Haunting Dutchman

Every years, every independence day of this republic, the story of ” VOC the Evil Company” always haunting me. How come a company colonializing a nation state? How come a limited liability company with mercenary, outsmarted a bunch of kingdom nation with military? It was just like our Pertamina colonializing Malaysia, or our Telkomsel colonializing China.

How come a company colonializing a huge chunk of nation state? It’s just a past time bed stories or it’s still happening today? Do you know how to play the game?

Now our educated young man seems so highly spirited to build a startup company, long time ago their senior joined political party as vehicles to climb for social- economic status, the shortcut into “national leadership”.

If you want to understand real politic, build your enterprise and play agile with it, you may move faster than any political party, and you may colonializing huge chunk of continent such as Africa or South America.

Only if you know how to Play the Big Game.

VOC wasn’t colonising a nation-state since the concept of the state itself grew with France Revolution, decades later after VOC came to this archipelago. Kingdom lebih tepat. Dan VOC bukan hanya Dutchmen deh setau saya. Itu lebih mirip multinational-corporation jaman sekarang, tapi dalam bentuknya yang masih primitif.

I know, I’ve wrote book about VOC, it will be published soon. I need some smart guy to beat my argument, or at least challenge it. And you have done it, congratz 🙂
